My hubby was skeptical when I first brought this butter home a couple months ago. I was thrilled to find it at a local grocery up here in Juneau, Alaska. But I knew the day I caught him putting a big dollop between 2 dried banana chips, he was hooked too! And one of our cats who takes medicine 2x/day with butter won't take it with just any butter now . . . he wants Amish butter!

So you have 2 new human fans and 1 feline fan!

Some cheeses also have Vitamin K-2 which fights cancer by starving off it's blood supply. Woot! Check out the angiogenesis websites for more info.

We, too, are hoping for cooler weather and looking forward to the fall and winter when it's much easier to ship butter and cheese. You can freeze the butter probably up to 4 months; just be sure it's packaged well in the freezer and it should retain its flavor. The cheese also can be frozen, but should be thawed slowly in the refrigerator. The main side-effect will be that the cheese will be more crumbly after it has been frozen, so may not slice as easily. Thanks for your business and kind words.

Carolyn,

There is no sugar added to any of our cheeses. However, milk has natural "sugar" in it. Lactose, milk sugar, forms about 4.7% of the solids in milk. So, there would be naturally occurring lactose in our cheeses, which comes from the cow's milk.

Hello

I was wondering if your farmer's cheese has any grams of sugar in the finished product. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Carolyn

I have purchased your, Farmers Goat Cheese,Mild White Cheddar Goat Cheese,Sharp White Cheddar Goat Cheese, and 2lbs. of your Amish Country Roll Butter. They are all excellent. It's hard to say one tastes better than the other. If I had to choose, I'd have to say, I like the Sharp White Cheddar Goat Cheese best!
