Great cheese for Italian meals. We just did a fresh tomato and zuchinni layered quick using this for its distinct flavor that spiced up the bland aspect of the casserole. Great over salad, too.

Great taste at a great price

    Not quite sharp enough.

This is a good cheese, although the flavor had an undertone that I did not expect and did not favor at first. I am used to Asiago that is rather aggressive, sharp, and funky. This one could notch up a level, although I have to say that serving temperature means everything. If this cheese is sampled out of the fridge, it is rather bland. Warmed to room temperature, another layer of flavor unfolds. Heated, it is quite pleasant with a good depth of flavor. As with all of the cheese I have tried from this site, it is dense and of good quality. Try it and form your own opinion. It is a good value and the service certainly cannot be faulted.

Best asiago on this side of Atlantic. My opinion. Tangy flavor, melts great. Or just cut into cubes and serve with kalamata olives and crostini. Daughters favorite.
